KNOWSLEY SAFARI PARK, A CELEBRITY COMMISSION & MORE …

Good morning folks I hope that this week’s blog post finds you all well and soaking up this rare but beautiful October sunshine.

Just like this year so far, this past week has just flew by with lots happening this end …

I’m pleased to sa that my latest commission is well underway and once this blog has been written and posted I’ll be headed straight back to the easel to continue my work on this:

If your read last week’s blog then you’ll know that I was looking forward to a second meeting at Knowsley safari park on Monday 10th … Well I’m pleased to announce that the meeting went extremely well and left me speechless when I was referrred to as Knowsley’s resident artist!!!  This is going to be a huge undertaking as they haven’t, as yet, anything artwise set up at the moment… but the planning and adventure has now truly begun … watch this space with more news coming soon.

Some more truly exciting news that I can now reveal is I have a brand new client …. the one and only Chris Packham!!!  More updates on this soon xXx

As I mentioned in my previous Blog post I have been invited by Wildfoot Travel to become part of their online team, requesting the contribution of a monthly blog highlighting my ‘close encounters of the furry kind’, or to be more precise my challenges, happy accidents, thoughts and methodology that form the framework of my life as a professional wildlife artist. This in itself is just as exciting and just as much a challenge as ‘adventure number one’ just in different aspects of the work involved. ‘Wildfoot Travel’ are wildlife and adventure specialists, their destinations stretch across the globe from the Artic to Antarctica with all the destinations you could wish for in between including Ecuador, Galapagos, Chile, Russia, Argentina, Brazil, Botswana, Costa Rica, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe to name but a few not to mention the Falklands and India. So if you have a spare five minutes check out their website and keep checking back as my Blog will be commencing soon … www.wildfoottravel.com. All being well the launch of my blog on their site should be within the next two weeks.  I’ll let you all know as soon as I do.

I’m very pleased to say that all of this year’s workshops have now sold out! However my ‘Wildlife 2017 Workshop‘ dates have now gone live on my website, please see the ‘Workshops’ page of my website for more details and to book your place: www.kerrynewell.com
Okay I’ll leave it at that for now as I really do need to get back to my easel. Thank you once again for taking the time to read my latest blog post and looking forward to chatting with you again soon.
