Hi there folks I hope that this blog update finds you all happy and healthy.
The saying ‘time flies when you’re having fun’ is no understatement as the past few weeks have come and gone so quickly that it feels like only yesterday I was fully immersed in the build up to the Birdfair (Aug 19th – 21st). I’m glad to say that the weeks of planning and preparation, not to mention the monetary investment applied to this year’s Birdfair, paid off with ‘Birdfair 2016’ being my best year yet 🙂
Like many exhibitors there the weekend is always an intense but fun-filled three days, precious moments interacting with customers new and old (no not age related lol), catching up with fellow exhibitors and networking.
Amongst my sales for the weekend:

This will hopefully at some point this year evolve into a painting, updates coming soon.
The highlight of the Birdfair for me this year was being asked to create a commission for a certain celebretory – more news on this when I have permission to share 🙂
More News!!! On Monday 11th July I was invited into Knowsley Safari Park, Cheshire for a meeting with the head of estates and the visitor services manager. The meeting turned out to be a successful brain storming event regarding my ideas on setting up an art based dimension to Knowsley Safari Park. My next meeting is scheduled for Monday 10th October – so more news on this exciting adventure to follow …

* This coming Saturday (1st Oct) I’ll be exhibiting and demonstrating at The Widnes Library, Victoria Road, Widnes, Cheshire WA8 7QT 10am – 2:30pm by kind invitation of Helen Osborne (Area Manager of Widnes Libraries) as part of a Community & Culture day – the first of it’s kind in Widnes! If you’re nearby and have some time to spare then please drop by and say hello 🙂
