Good morning folks I hope that this latest Blog post finds you all well, thoroughly recovered from the festive season, refreshed and looking forward to a new and hopefully exciting fun-packed, adventure-filled year ahead of us.
Thank you to those of you who’ve been taking the time to correspond with me sending both New Year wishes and feedback regarding my Blogs and work in general, all of which is truly appreciated.
Towards the end of 2016 myself and my husband Gary finally recieved some much anticipated news – our mortgage had finally gone through, after what had been months of waiting due to the dreaded ‘P’ word (probate lol) I’m so very pleased and relieved to say that our once rented property is now our own. Since relocating to Cheshire from Leicestershire I’ve been working with two temporary studios – one being our conservatory and number two being our spare upstairs room, this was due to having been unable to physically move my original studio from one county to the next. However I’m glad to say that my days of going back and forth between these ‘perfectly fine for now’ locations in our home will be phased out during the coming months as our garage transforms from occasional dumping ground and storage overflow to custom studio conversion … needless to say I’m a little excited (understatement of the year even though we’re only in January lol). So to keep you up to date with this work in progress I’ll share an image with you all of how the garage looks at the moment and will then pictorially update you as things take shape:
Okay I’ll keep this blog short for you, with it being the first one since Christmas, pictorially there’s not a lot to share as Chris Packham’s commission is still on my easel. Not to fear though as I’m over half way there with this one now so it wont be long until you can see what I’ve been working on for Chris:
Once Chris’s commission is complete my ‘wolves’ project will be taking it’s place on my easel and then this too will be worked to completion:
