Commissions

Arranging a commission couldn’t be simpler:

Below you can find information on prices, time scale and required references,

After reading this information please use the commission request form to contact me. Once received I will reply with a no-obligation quote for you to read at your leisure.

You will then have 28 days from the date of the quote in which to book your commission.  A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required for work to commence. If you choose to cancel before work has begun I will refund you in full.

Your portrait will then be created.  If requested, email updates can be forwarded to you as your painting progresses.

Upon completion I will contact you for the balance which will need to be paid in full either prior to collection/delivery or upon collection/delivery of your commission.

For a no-obligation quote, or if you would like to know the price using a different medium i.e. watercolour, acrylic, oils etc, or a different size then please ask in the ‘commission requirements’ form below.

Payments can be made via PayPal, direct bank transfer or sterling.

How long will it take:

This is a question whose answer will vary depending on when it is asked, as commissions are slotted into my regular work schedule. Under normal circumstances I aim to complete each commission within two calendar months. Should my workload be busier than normal, then allowing a few more weeks for the completion of a painting would need to be taken into account.

Please feel free to contact me to see if a time schedule of ‘sooner rather than later’ is possible for your painting.

Notes on photographing your subject:

If you already have photographs you would like me to use then these need to be in focus and a true likeness of the subject’s colouration (and where wildlife is concerned the photographs need to be free from copyright).

For multiple subjects it is always best to provide a photograph of the subjects together where possible for size comparison.

Good quality reference photographs will always help me to achieve a high level of realism in my paintings.

Dependent upon distance I can always arrange to take the photographs for you.
